SNORK'S NEST
Stork’s Nest is a 501(c) 3 program for prenatal education operated by TAU ZETA of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., the March of Dimes, and cooperating community agencies. The program provides incentives and encouragement for women to keep prenatal care appointments, a critical factor for helping babies get a healthy start in life.
MARCH OF DIMES
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and March of Dimes fight for the health of all moms and babies. With the move of the MOD national headquarters to the Washington, DC area, we are poised physically to accompany them as they legislate to improve the healthcare system. Empowering families with the knowledge and tools to have healthier pregnancies is necessary. Improving existing fundraising stakeholder collaborations and initiating new ones with associations, organizations, agencies, and companies is a cross-cutting priority for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and March of Dimes.
ZHOPE
Zetas Helping Other People Excel was approved at the 2008 National Boule as the National Service Program of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
An interactive, holistic, multidimensional outreach program designed to enhance, cultivate, and empower participants to develop health-promoting lifestyle choices across the lifespan. Specific to the population groups: Women, Youth, Seniors, Men, and International Women of Color.
AMICAE
Since 1940, chapters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, realized the importance and the valuable contributions of women who chose a different educational path than college. Though many women affiliated with Zeta chapters served in organized auxiliaries, their place in the sisterhood was made official when National President Lullelia Harrison included in her report to the 1948 Boule’ a recommendation that chapters be allowed to organize auxiliaries known as Zeta “Amicae” (Friends of Zeta).
Youth
Zeta Phi Beta is unique because it has spent a great deal of energy developing auxiliary groups for young girls. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was the first to establish national auxiliaries. They are Archonettes (girls 14-18), Amicettes (9-13), and Pearlettes (4-8). All of these groups help Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. to achieve its goals locally and internationally.
